For example, the Komondor dog breed is Hungarian in origin and the Afghan Hound is a native of Afghanistan. As the name suggests, Spanish Water Dog was developed in Spain. Though we cannot rule out the possibility of mop dogs being developed in labs as hybrid dog breeds.

Is Matted Hair Painful For Dogs? Yes, matted hair is very likely to be painful and troublesome for dogs. Mats also obstruct the flow of air through your dogโ€™s fur and trap moisture, causing pain and sores. Extreme matting will cut off circulation to your dogโ€™s skin, causing hematomas, and mild matting hurts as well.
