Choosing the best family dogs was my biggest nightmare when I decided to be a pet owner. It can be downright frustrating to choose which among the many varieties of dog breeds are perfect for families.

Beagles are the best family dogs, but Basset Hound and Shetland Sheepdog are also excellent choices. These doggies are friendly, active, and make good companions with children. Beagles, for example, can bear the injuries children will cost them when playing. However, there are still more best family dogs we can add to this list, so let’s find out.

26. Bernese Mountain Dog
